Tools generally refers to lexicons, dictionaries, commentaries, and other study aids, including user-generated content (such as notes).
Note for experienced users of Accordance Bible Software V12: The Library categories are not available in this version of Accordance for Android.
However, there are also several types of Texts and Tools. Following is a summary of the different types of Texts and Tools available in Accordance.
Types of Texts

- Key Number Texts: Bibles in English (Greek and Spanish also available) with a Key number (Strong's or G/K) attached to many words. The number links to the original Greek and Hebrew lemma The canonical (dictionary) form of a word (dictionary form). These Texts enable searches on the word or Key number.
- Grammatically Tagged Texts: Greek (or Uncial) and Hebrew (or Aramaic or Syriac) original Texts of the Bible or related Texts. These Texts supply the dictionary form and often the root A root is a unit of a language that cannot be further divided, from which words are derived by modification. The root does not necessarily survive as a word in itself. The Accordance roots may combine homographs and therefore a single root may include roots with different etymologies and meanings. In Hebrew, by convention, the lexical form (lemma) of a verb is the same as the root. of each word along with an English gloss and full parsing information and optional syntactical analysis. With these Texts you can search on the word itself (inflected form The word as it appears in the original text, which may be modified from its base dictionary form), lemma The canonical (dictionary) form of a word (lexical or dictionary form) or root A root is a unit of a language that cannot be further divided, from which words are derived by modification.
