Select Key Numbers Dialog Box

Prerequisite to opening: Cursor is in the Search Entry box of a Search Tab for Keyed Bible text, with search set to Words. This dialog box is also used for the lemmas of certain German Bibles.

To open the Select Key Numbers dialog box, do one of the following:

In the Search Entry box, right-click and choose Enter>Key Number from the shortcut menu Also known as a contextual menu, acessed by right-clicking (or pressing Ctrl+Click, Mac only) over a screen element.
On the Search menu, choose Enter Key Number.
Press +L.
Drag a KEY item into a Construct tab.

Left panel with an alphabetical list: Displays an alphabetical list of every Key number that appears in the current search text. The Key numbers are shown on the left side of the scrolling list. Greek numbers are prefixed by the letter G, followed by Hebrew numbers prefixed by the letter H. The English transliteration of the dictionary form of each original word appears to the right of the key number.
Use the scroller The control you drag in the scroll bar and arrows to scroll through the list.
Click a word to add it to the Words to enter box.
Double-click a word to add the word to the Search Entry box and close the Select Key Numbers dialog box.
For multiple words, double-click the last selected word to add all selected words to the Search Entry box and close the Select Key Numbers dialog box.
Text Pop-up Menu: Used to change the list to the words from another text of this language. Changing the word list does not change the current search text setting in the tab.
Go To box: Used for entering characters to scroll the list to the closest word. You can enter the Key number or the transliterated word.
If you use the Go to box to locate the words in the list, the box is cleared after each word is chosen, ready for your next entry.
Example: Type h01 in the box to scroll the list to H0100.
Example: Type H elohim, or just eloh, in the box to scroll the list to H0430.
Words to enter box: Displays all words selected from the list. You can edit the words directly in this box.
OK: Enters the selected Key numbers in the Search Entry box (at the insertion point), or inserts the construct item.

If multiple Key numbers are selected, they are added to the Search Entry box in parentheses and separated by commas as alternate search criteria. In this case, the search criteria is met if it contains any of these Key numbers.
