Graphically Related Shortcut Keys (including Atlas and Timeline)

The shortcut keys in this section relate to the Atlas, Timeline, Slide Show and all other graphically related shortcut keys, such as pictures, charts, and diagrams.

These shortcuts relate to graphical editing including Construct or Diagram Tabs, Map User Layers, and Edit User Layers.

Alt+Any Arrow Key on any selected item Diagram tab Move the selected object one pixel at a time in the arrow direction (up, down, left, or right)
Shift+Draw or resize an object Edit User Layer Constrain the drawing to a circle or square
Shift+Resize pasted picture Edit User Layer Restore the picture to its original size
Ctrl+ Drag a Bezier point Edit User Layer Pull out the handles
Shift+Drag a Bezier point Edit User Layer Break the alignment between the handle

Atlas Shift+Select Site, Region, Route, or User Layer Add an additional layer with the currently displayed layer
2D Map and Timeline Shift+Click on a name Make it an "extra name"
2D Map and Timeline Click+Delete or Select+Delete on a highlighted name Removes the highlight from the "extra name" item
2D Map and Timeline Double-Click on a name Open and search the default English tool
2D Map and Timeline Alt+Click-and-Drag Measure distances
2D Map Alt+Click on Animate check box Stop the route animation and display the entire route
