Display Menu Item Description Notes
Set Text Pane Display Sets the display details of the activeClosed The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element tab; options are tailored to the type of active tab  
Show Text As Opens a submenu with options for the display of Bible text in verses, paragraphs, or references only  
Adjust Context

Opens a submenu with options for the display of Bible text in context; available options are:

None: Displays only verses containing search hits

1-9: Displays 1-9 verses above and below the hit verse

All: Displays the entire text; Hit navigation buttons are added to the navigation bar. You can then navigate through the hits with the hit button arrows.

Decrease Context: Decreases context by one verse above and below each hit

Increase Context: Increases context by one verse above and below each hit

Toggle Context: Toggles contexts between All and None

Hide Verse References Hides the references of the Bible text in the selected text pane  
Zoom

Opens a submenu with commands for making text or pictures larger or smaller; available options are:

Zoom In: Zoom in on a picture

Zoom Out: Zoom out on a picture

Increase Font Size: Increases font size in the active pane

Decrease Font Size: Decreases font size in the active pane

Increase Font Size in All Panes: Increases font size in all open panes

Decrease Font Size in All Panes: Decreases font size in all open panes

 

Available options change depending on whether text or a picture is detected
List All Book Names Opens a tab displaying English Bible book names and standard abbreviations, and, in the case of some texts in other languages, the alternate names  
List Text Differences Opens a tab listing the differences highlighted in the first two text panes of the same language For more information, see Comparing Texts
Define Highlight Styles Opens a dialog box for creating and editing styles used to mark the Bible text For more information, see Define Highlight Styles Dialog Box
Define Atlas Layers

Opens a submenu listing available layers and sets for maps, as listed below:

Site Layers

Custom Sites

Region Layers

Route Layers

User Layers

Site Sets

Region Sets

Route Sets

User Layer Sets

Choosing one of the layers or layer sets opens the associated dialog box for defining that type of layer
Define Time Layers

Opens a submenu for defining the following items for a Timeline:

Region Layers

Item Layers

Custom Lists

User Items

Choosing one of the options in the submenu opens the associated dialog box for defining that item
Font Opens a submenu for choosing any font installed in your system These items are used to change the appearance of text selected or entered in the Edit window for User Notes or User Tools, the User layer for maps, or the description box of Construct and Reference List tabs. If the Font bar is available, these items are also available there
Size Opens a submenu for choosing from a range of font sizes
Style Opens a submenu for choosing the text style, including superscript and subscript
Color Opens a submenu for choosing a color for the font (text)
Alignment Opens a submenu for choosing the type of justification (left, center, or right) for a User Tool
Show Font Bar Acts as a toggle to open/close the Font bar in Edit windows, Diagram tabs, Parsing tabs, and when editing User Layers (Atlas)
