Installation for New Users

You must have an online account with OakTree Software on the AccordanceBible.com website.

To install Accordance:

1. Log on to your Accordance account.
2. Locate the Accordance Application and download the file to your default Downloads location (usually browser specific).
3. Run the Accordance application file and follow the on-screen instructions. An Accordance icon is added to your Desktop.
4. Double-click the Accordance icon to launch Accordance for the first time.
5. You will be asked to connect to your Accordance account.

6. The Easy Install dialog box opens, so that you can add purchased content to Accordance.

   Note Some content is included with your purchase of Accordance Bible Software. That content must also be downloaded via the Easy Install dialog box.

7. After exiting the Easy Install dialog box, the Setup Assistant appears and walks you through some basic steps for choosing your preferred way of working. These can always be changed later via the Preferences dialog box (Edit menu). If desired, you can go through the Setup Assistant again later on. To do so, on the Help menu, choose Setup Assistant.
