Add Items to the Library

Folders and dividing lines can be added by clicking the buttons after selecting a category or any item. If the selected item is an open folder, the new folder or line is created inside the folder. Modules moved into a folder appear in a submenu on most pop-up menus which list that category of modulesClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource.

Modules can be added to categories. The new moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource is added at the bottom of the relevant category and is listed in the associated menu.

Your changes are saved immediately.

Add a FolderAdd a Folder

  1. Select the item in a category above the desired location of folder.
  2. Do one of the following:
  3. Right-click and choose Add Folder.
  4. Press Shift+ +N .
  5. Click Action () and choose Add Folder from the pop-up menu that appears.

An initial label "untitled" appears and is selected for renaming the folder.

  1. Type the desired name of the folder and press Return or Enter. Your changes are saved and reflected in the effected pop-up menus.
    You can also click anywhere to save the changes.

Add a Dividing LineAdd a Dividing Line

  1. Select the item in a category above the desired location of the dividing line.
  1. Do one of the following:
  2. Right-click and choose Add Divider.
  3. Press Shift++D.
  4. Click Action () and choose Add Divider from the pop-up menu that appears.
    The dividing line is added below the selected item in the category, and your changes are saved and reflected in the effected pop-up menus.

Add Modules to the LibraryAdd Modules to the Library

This procedure is used to restore a deleted module to the Library, or to add a new module to the Library which, for some reason may not have been automatically added. It is best to first make sure the module is located in the correct folder on the hard disk.

  1. Open the Library if it is not already open, by doing one of the following:
  2. Click Window>Library Window.
  3. Press Opt++1 .
  4. Click Add Item() and choose Add New Modules from the pop-up menu. The Add Module dialog box appears and displays the default location of your modules.
  5. In the Add Module dialog box, navigate to and choose the module to be added.
  6. Click Open. The module is added to the appropriate section and category in the Library, and your changes are saved and reflected in the effected pop-up menu.
    Accordance will validate the module via your online account.
