Set Table Display Dialog Box

Prerequisites for use: A Table tab is the activeClosed The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element tab.   

Use: The Set Table Display dialog box is used to define how data is displayed in the active Table tab.

Description: The various settings affect how data is displayed in the table. Changes affect only the active Table tab. If you want your changes applied to all future Table tabs, click Use as Default.

Sort by Pop-up Menu: Choose how you want the hits sorted, by Reference (Biblical order), in the order of the Average Hits or Total Hits, or by the total number of words (Total Words) or verses (Total Verses).

Show chapter detail: When selected, the Table displays the number of hits in each chapter of the search range. When sorting by Reference the total for each book is displayed before the totals for individual chapters.

Show average hits per 1000 words: The Table tab always displays the total number of hits in each section of the search range. When selected, this option adds a second column of information that displays the average number of hits. This is helpful when comparing usage across books or chapters of different lengths.

Note

In the Set Table Display for Reference tools, this item is Show average hits per 100 Verses.

Show total verse count: When selected, adds the verse count to the books or chapters of the search.

Show total word count: When selected, adds the actual count of all words in the books or chapters of the search.

Note

This item does not appear in the Set Table Display dialog box for Reference tools.

Font size Pop-up Menu: Used to change the point size of the font used in the table display.
