The Pictures Zone

The Pictures zone is used to view full size pictures, usually opened by clicking the zone button (Zone button, to open the picture in its own Pictures zone) when viewing a picture popover. You can also navigate sequentially through pictures in a moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource and view tables in a Pictures zone (not shown).

Note

The Picture popover cannot be shown in Slide Show Display. To show pictures in a slide show, open them in a separate Pictures tab/zone.

Use the In and Out buttons to zoom in or out of the picture. You can zoom in and out on the image in a variety of ways.

To navigate sequentially through pictures in a module, click the Previous () or Next () buttons.

You can scroll through the image in a variety of ways:

You can choose a white or black background for the picture via the Preferences dialog box (Appearance area).

Hint

Certain older tools have some drawings with transparent backgrounds. To view such images you must set the preferences to a white background.

Manipulating Images in the Pictures Zone

Note the Out and In buttons, and the activeClosed The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element Recycle symbol. If you click another picture in the PhotoGuide, it opens in the same Pictures zone. Click the Recycle symbol to dim it and have the picture open in a new tab in the Pictures zone.

Hint

To open a picture thumbnail in a new tab or zone (bypassing the Picture Popover), press Ctrl+ and click the thumbnail.
