Display the Syntax
You can view the tree structure of the text in the Syntax pane of the Search tab. It synchronizes with the verse at the top of the text pane.
The various syntax databases are associated with specific Texts. The Syntax tree is displayed by opening a database in a parallel pane, or by opening the database directly from the Library (located in the "Database" section of the Library.
To display a syntax tree by adding a parallel pane:

Open one of the following Texts from the Library:
- HMT-W4 (Hebrew Masoretic Text with Westminster Hebrew Morphology)
- MT-AFD (Hebrew Bible (Andersen-Forbes)
- MT-ETCBC (ETCBC Syntax)
- INSCRIP (Hebrew Inscriptions-Tagged)
- GNT28-T (NA28 Greek NT)
- Click Add Parallel. A pop-up menu appears.
- Choose the desired Syntax file. The Syntax pane is displayed.
- The related tagged text must be installed in order to see the syntax, but does not have to be currently displayed.
- The verse reference is displayed at the start of each verse.
