Study Aids: Tools and Parallels

Accordance Bible Software provides a variety of modules Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource to complement your Bible study and research. These study aids include the Accordance Tools and Parallels.

Tools consist of all the non-Biblical modules offered by Accordance, including dictionaries or lexicons, commentaries, cross-references and other reference works. While you might have many of these volumes at home Referring to the "home folder", the ability to search through these volumes via Accordance makes their content much more accessible. Hundreds of modules are available; you can purchase a set of study aids or individual ones, depending on your particular needs.

Parallels, on the other hand, take a lot of the work out of your research. These are Text modules consisting of sets of Bible verses parallel in content to each other. Accordance currently provides parallel modules that include the Old Testament (or Tanakh), Old Testament Quotes in the New Testament, Epistles, the Gospels, Gospel Harmony, Gospel Synoptics, and Sayings Attributed to Q.
