Using the Instant Details

The Instant Details display a great deal of information, depending on the text or item the cursor is passing over in the activeClosed The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element tab. You can view the Instant Details attached to a Workspace, detached as a floating window, or as a popover. Viewing as a popover is set via the Instant Details area of the Preferences dialog box.

You can copy information in the Instant Details panel and set preferences that impact how it is displayed. For Biblical texts only, you can also display the first article of the first text tool listed in the text tool pop-up menus (Texts area of the toolbar). You can also open a dictionary for the selected word in the Instant Details.

Note

Instant Details will appear detached if the maximum number of zones in a Workspace has already been reached.
