[FUZZY 1]

The FUZZY command can be entered before a phrase to allow the number of words specified to be dropped from the search. This helps locate phrases that are similar but not identical to the search text. The number (variable) represents the number of words that can be ignored (missing from or substituted) in the phrase. The 1 can be replaced by any number up to two less than the words in the phrase.

Example: Entering "[FUZZY 2] give your bread to the poor" in the KJVS finds six phrases, none of them identical to the search phrase. On the other hand, entering "[FUZZY 3] give your bread to the poor" in the KJVS finds 76 non-identical phrases.

Fuzzy shortcut: To perform a Fuzzy search with the variable determined automatically by the length of the phrase, select a phrase in the text and press Shift while amplifying to any text.
