Print Multiple Panes

You can print the content of multiple panes. Accordance automatically makes sure that each break in the text begins on the same line in all columns. This means that a verse or section begins at the same place on the page in all the text panes, even if different font sizes and display formats are used. This feature lets you print parallel texts without worrying if one text is "getting ahead" of another on the page.

When printing multiple panes, note that:

  8. Print pane name: Adds the moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource name for each pane to the printout. Vertical panes print the name at the head of the column on each page, while horizontal panes print the name before each entry.
  9. When done, click OK to save your changes.

Note

Commentaries with long entries for verses are best printed horizontally.

If Page width same as window is selected, each pane prints with the same width as in the Search tabClosed The core tab used to search Bible texts, it consists of a search entry area and a search results area. If you are printing multiple panes and this item is not selected, Accordance fits the columns to the page width entered in the print settings. The relative widths of multiple panes are preserved so each column on the page is proportional to its corresponding text pane in the tab. In either case, the width of columns in the printout is determined by the relative width of the text panes on the screen.
