Set Default Display of Selected Module

You can set the default text display for a single moduleClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource, or for the selected modulesClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource in a Library category (Texts, Tools, or User Tools).

Hint

For example, you can set a larger size font for all Greek texts without affecting the display of other texts, or the linked texts for Hebrew tools differently from other tools.

  1. Open the Library if it is not already open.
  2. Select the item(s) in a category.
  3. Do one of the following:
  4. Press Ctrl+T .
  5. Click Action Items () and choose Set Default Display from the pop-up menu that appears.

    The Text Settings for Selected Items dialog box appears if you selected a Text module. Available options are the same as for the Set Text Display dialog box.
  1. Make the desired changes and click OK.
  2. Your changes become the default text display settings for the selected module(s).
  1. Your changes are saved and apply to the module the next time it is opened.

Note

Changes to a Module's default text settings DO NOT apply to the content of saved tabs, workspaces, and sessions. To update these to the new default text settings:

  1. Open the saved tab, workspace, or sessionClosed The arrangement of screen elements when working with Accordance.
  2. Change the Bible version, and then return back to the desired Bible version. The new default text settings for that version are now displayed.
  3. Save the tab, workspace, or session to keep your changes.
