Customize Tool Display

Each tool has its own default display settings, and the display of text in the Tool pane can be customized. The current display settings also apply when the text is printed.

The hit wordsClosed The verses, words, text, or other information found as the result of a search (the search results) are shown in a highlight style and color of your choice.

Note

These changes apply to the specific tool displayed in a pane, for example, Easton or Hebrew Keys.
  1. On the Display menu, choose Set Tool Display. The Set Tool Display dialog appears.
    You can also click in the Tool pane and press +T .

    This picture shows the Theme customization items on the right. To hide these items, click Hide Customization. If these items are not displayed, click Customize Theme (under the Theme pop-up menu).

  2. Choose the desired display options in the Set Tool Display dialog box.

  2. Click OK to apply the changes to the selected pane.
  3. Click Use as Default to apply the changes to Tool panes displaying the same tool. A message appears asking you to confirm saving these settings as your default. Click Save to confirm applying your changes to all subsequent displays of this specific tool.

Note

If you do not save your changes as the default for the selected tool, they will only apply as long as that tool remains open in the Tool pane. If you close that tool and then reopen it later on, it is displayed according to its default settings.

  1. Choose a theme for default display of Tool modulesClosed Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource via the Tool Display area of the Preferences dialog box.

  3. Modify the default display of all tools by changing other items in the Preferences dialog box.
  4. Modify the default display of only that tool by changing display items via the Set Tool Display dialog box, as detailed above.
