Simple amplify is useful for texts with no Key numbers and which is not grammatically tagged. Accordance looks for the highlighted word in the selected Text or Tool in the Library.

You can also amplify from Key number or grammatically tagged search results. In this case, make sure you are amplifying to a Text or Tool that has the same language, grammatical tag, or Key number.

1. Perform a search and then open an Analysis tab.
2. Select the word in the Analysis tab that you want to find in another Text or Tool.
3. In the Library, pass the cursor over the desired Text or Tool. The Information () and Amplify () buttons appear to the right of the module Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource name.
4. Click Amplify (). All hits in that resource Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or module which match the selected word are displayed in a new Text or Tools tab.

Note When working with Key number or grammatically tagged text, Smart Amplify is the default amplification method used in Accordance. You can override Smart Amplify at any time by pressing Shift and selecting the desired item from the Library.

1. Perform a word search for any text.
2. On the Hit Options bar, click Analytics () and choose Analysis. The Analysis tab appears.
3. Select the desired word, Key number, or grammatical tag in the Analysis tab.
4. Do one of the following:
5. On the Amplify menu, choose Search Current Resource.
6. Press Opt++F.
   The required search argument is created and entered in the Search Entry box of a new Search tab The core tab used to search Bible texts, it consists of a search entry area and a search results area of the same module that data in the Analysis tab was based on, and the search is performed.

1. Open the KJVS in a Search tab.
2. Perform a search for the word "heaven" in Genesis 1:1.
3. On the Hit Options bar, click Analytics () and choose Analysis. The Analysis tab appears.
   The results should appear as shown below.
   
   

   

4. Select G3321 from the list of Key numbers in the Analysis tab.
5. Do one of the following:
6. On the Amplify menu chose Search Current Resource.
7. Press Opt++F.

1. Open the BHS-W4 in a Search tab.
2. Perform a search for "ברא" in Hebrew.
3. On the Hit Options bar, click Analytics () and choose Analysis. The Analysis tab appears and becomes the active The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element tab.

4. In the active Analysis tab, press +T. The Set Analysis Display dialog box appears.
5. In the table of the Set Analysis Display dialog box, drag the Stem item under the LEX item in the first column.

6. In the Set Analysis Display dialog box, click OK. The search results are sorted according to the LEX and stem tags.
7. In the Analysis tab, select Nifal and press Opt++F.
   The results should appear as shown below.
   
   

   

1. Open the GNT-T in a Search tab.
2. Perform a search for "+αγαπη" in Greek.
3. On the Hit Options bar, click Analytics () and choose Analysis. The Analysis tab appears.

4. In the Analysis tab, press +T. The Set Analysis Display dialog box appears.
5. In the table of the Set Analysis Display dialog box, drag the following items under the LEX item in the first column (see picture below): PrtSpeech, Person, Tense, Voice, and Number.
   
   

   

6. In the Set Analysis Display dialog box, click OK. The search results are sorted according to your settings.
