Note for Experience Accordance Users Any Text Sets, Tool Sets, Research Groups, or Favorite Modules defined in earlier versions of Accordance are converted to User Groups and appear as folders in the My Groups category.

1. Add a folder in the My Groups category and give it a descriptive name.
2. There are several ways to add a folder to the My Groups category:
1. Select a module Any Bible text, or other single tool that can be read in Accordance, including reference texts and articles; may also be referred to as content or resource in the Library, right-click it (or click the Action Item pop-up menu), and choose Add To User Group > [New Group].
2. Select the My Groups category or a sub-folder in that category, right-click it (or click the Action Item pop-up menu), and choose Add Folder.
   
   You can also use the following shortcut keys: Shift+Ctrl+N.
3. You cannot create or move User Groups folders inside one another.
2. Drag-and-drop the desired modules from any category into the folder in the My Groups category. The module appears in the folder.
   
   The module remains in its original location in the Library and can be accessed as usual. The module name in the My Groups folder is actually an alias or pointer to the desired module.
3. Continue adding modules, as desired, to the folder.
4. You can drag-and-drop modules from one folder to another.
5. Alt+Drag to copy an alias in another folder.

6. An alias cannot be the first item in My Groups unless there is no other content in the My Groups category.

   The names of your User Groups appear in the Amplify menu and the Library. The User Groups also appear in the My Groups shortcut menu Also known as a contextual menu, acessed by right-clicking (or pressing Ctrl+Click, Mac only) over a screen element used for amplifying to any module within a group.

A User Group can be deleted, like any other item in the Library. Deleting a User Groups folder deletes all the aliases in that folder. However, the modules themselves are not removed from the Library.

There are a few ways to open and search User Groups.

• Open: Double-click any folder in My Groups. All modules in the folder open as tabs in the active The application, window, tab, or other screen element which is currently being used; sometimes called the "front" or "frontmost" screen element workspace.
• Open in a New Workspace: Press Ctrl+ and double-click to open the modules in the folder in a new workspace.
• Research: Select a word in the active text pane. On the Amplify menu, click Search and select the User Group to search all modules in that group.
• The hits are displayed in a Research tab.
• You can quickly navigate the hits for each module using the left browser pane.

You can amplify directly to all modules in a User Group by creating a favorite workspace of those modules and amplifying to the favorite workspace.

1. Press Ctrl+ and double-click to open all modules in the User Group in a new workspace.
2. Add the workspace as a favorite via the Add Items pop-up menu in the Library.
   
   You can also create a favorite workspace via the Library or Window menu.
3. Select text and amplify to the favorite workspace via the Library. All the modules open in separate tabs in a new workspace. The search text appears in the Search Entry box of each tab and the hits are displayed.

You can amplify to a single module in a User Group via the shortcut menus.

1. Select a verse, word, or phrase in a text pane.
2. Right-click and choose My Groups. Menu options appear for all defined User Groups.
3. Choose the desired module from the My Groups submenus. The module opens in a new tab, the search text appears in the Search Entry box, and all hits are displayed.
